Trump frustrated by Judge Amy Coney Barrett, other elections of the Supreme Court: Fuentes

President Donald Trump has expressed in private the frustration about the judges of the Supreme Court who appointed, mostly complaining of Judge Amy Coney Barrett, three people familiar with the conversations to ABC News.

These sources said the president transmitted that the judges he designated could do more to support his agenda.

Several Trump allies have also brought their complaints about Barrett directly to the president, labeling it as “weak.”

Others have expressed their views publicly, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The conservative lawyer Mike Davis recently said in the podcast of Steve Bannon: “She is a right -handed law teacher for her A …”. Davis, a Trump ally, is in frequent communication with the president, sources have told ABC News.

Judge Barrett has not commented on the elaboration of right -wing criticisms from the bank or is expected that the members of the Court almost never directly get involved, much less at the time, with political criticism.

An official of the Superior Administration and additional sources familiar with Trump’s thinking tell ABC News that the president is looking to nominate the judges in the mold of Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas and the late Antonin Scalia.

Barrett is a former employee of the Law of Scalia, who Trump and Barrett stood out when he announced it as his nominee to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg in 2020.

“Particularly moving for me was his long and deep friendship with Judge Antonin Scalia, my own mentor,” Barrett said in the White House Garden at that time. Maureen Scalia was also at the audience.

In a statement to ABC News, the press secretary director Harrison Fields declared: “President Trump will always be with the United States Supreme Court, unlike the Democratic Party, which, if they are given the opportunity, would pack the Court, finally undermining his integrity. The President can disagree with the court and some of his rules, but he will always respect his fundamental role.”

CNN was the first reported Trump’s private frustration with Barret on Tuesday.

While the president has complained in Barrett deprived, it is notable that he has not attacked it publicly.

Trump defended her after she put on the side of the liberal judges of the Court who say that the Trump administration must defrost the payment of foreign aid.

“She is a very good woman. She is very intelligent, and I don’t know about people who attack her, I really don’t know,” Trump told journalists.

However, Trump recently attacked the leader of federalist society Leonard Leo, who advised him on judicial nominations during his first term, calling him a ‘Sleazbag’.

“I am very disappointed with the federalist society by the bad advice they gave me about numerous judicial nominations,” Trump wrote.
