After flying to El Salvador in search of a meeting with the Maryland resident who, according to the courts, was erroneously deported from the United States last month, Senator Chris van Hollen, D-Md., Shared a photo with Kilmar Abrego GarcĂa.

“I said that my main objective of this trip was to meet Kilmar. Tonight I had that opportunity. I called his wife, Jennifer, to transmit his love message. I hope to provide a complete update on my return,” said Van Hollen in the publication.

Abrego GarcĂa’s wife was told that the meeting between Abrego GarcĂa and Senator Chris Van Hollen was created by El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, ABC News, a source close to the family.
The source said that Abrego GarcĂa and his wife, Jennifer VĂĄsquez, could not speak, and added that the family does not know where Abrego GarcĂa is being held.
In a VĂĄsquez statement provided by House, a group of immigration defense that represents the family, Abrego GarcĂa’s wife said that his prayers have been answered.
“My children and my prayers have been answered,” VĂĄsquez said. “The efforts of my family and community are heard in the struggle for justice, because now I know that my husband is alive. God is listening and the community is strong.” “We still have so many questions, hopes and fears,” VĂĄsquez added. “I will continue to pray and fight for Kilmar’s return to home,” he said.
The meeting comes after Van Hollen shared A video In the most early social networks on Thursday, showing the guards who prevent it and others enter Cecot, the prison where Abrego GarcĂa is located.
The Supreme Court and a federal judge of Maryland ordered that the United States government “facilitate” the return of Abrego GarcĂa to the United States after the Department of Justice said in judicial presentations that the 29 -year -old father was unjustly deported due to an “administrative error.”
The Trump administration claimed that it cannot bring it back and said outside the court that Abrego GarcĂa is a member of the MS-13 gang.

The White House hit Van Hollen for making the trip and advocating Abrego GarcĂa, claiming with little evidence, that Abrego GarcĂa is a member of the gang.
The Department of Justice has not accused Abrego GarcĂa of any crime related to gang and his alleged membership of MS-13 has been disputed in court.
