Johnson previously served as regional field director of North Carolina of the Trump campaign in 2016 and was a member of the Black Voices Advisory Board for Trump during the 2020 campaign.

The summit occurs after President Donald Trump obtained modest profits with black voters throughout the country in 2024, especially among young blacks, a key demographic group for Democrats, according to Associated Press. Black voters represented approximately 1 in 10 voters nationwide in the last presidential elections of 2024.

Although approximately 8 out of 10 black voters supported Vice President Kamala Harris, that marked a fall of approximately 9 by 10 that supported President Joe Biden only four years before. Meanwhile, Trump almost doubled his 2020 support among black men under 45, with approximately 3 out of 10 supporting it in 2024, compared to only 1 in 10 in 2020.

The summit will focus on six key themes: artificial intelligence and its role in the configuration of the future; Criminal Justice and Policy Transformation; cryptocurrencies and black economic empowerment; strengthen the black family; navigate modern cultural debates; and the influence of generation Z in politics and media.

While several members of the Black Conservative Federation have worked in the Trump administration and the broader conservative movement, the organizers say that the event is more than short -term victories. It is designed to promote long -term talent and leadership development throughout the country, they say.

“We are not only honoring the legacy of freedom, we are based on it. By advising emerging voices and expanding access to civic commitment, we are carrying the torch of progress with the purpose,” Johnson said.

Among the speakers highlighted at the summit are Lynne Patton, attached assistant of the president and director of minority dissemination in the White House; Rep. Wesley Hunt de Texas; Anne Marie Wiley, former member of the “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast; Alex Smith, deputy secretary of the United States Department of the Treasury; and Janiyah Thomas, former Black Media Director for the Trump campaign.

Trump’s “Czar Forgiveness”, Alice Johnson, will also talk to the group as the founder of Death Row’s records, Michael Harris.

Several high -profile black conservative influencers are also scheduled to participate, including CJ Pearson, Xavier Durouseau and members of the Carter family, who transmit videos on YouTube.

The Black Conservative Federation was initially founded as a group of political networks for black conservatives, but since then it has expanded its mission of focusing on diversifying the conservative movement and promoting conservative principles. The group emphasizes their work in political defense, dissemination and civic commitment.

Trump went to the group during an event of the month of black history in 2024, indicating an increase in the visibility of the group within the republican circles of the Maga era.

His leadership includes representative Byron Donalds, who serves as president, and former NFL player Jack Brewer, the current co -president of the organization.
