Timeline of the murder of Minnesota legislators: "He rejected his victims as prey"

He allegedly took months of planning, but the suspect in the murder of a legislator of Minnesota and her husband, and the attempt to murder of a second politician chosen by the State, took place in a period of time of approximately 90 minutes that was frustrated by the police before more victims could be attacked, officials said.

The suspect, Vance Boelter, 57, was arrested Sunday night near his farm in Green isle, Minnesota, where a neighbor saw him in a trail chamber and called 911.

Boelter disguised himself as an agent of the law, even conducting a black SUV uncle equipped with police emergency lights, allegedly carrying out a mortal uproar that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning in the suburbs of Minneapolis and caused the “largest humanity in the history of Minnesota,” said the lawyer of the United States of Minnesota, Joseph Thompson on Monday.

“It is not exaggerated that their crimes are nightmares,” Thompson said at a press conference. “Boelter stalked his victims as a prey. He went to his homes disguised as a police and shot them in cold blood.”

Here is a timeline that Thompson detailed how the attacks that have sent shock waves through Minnesota and La Nación.

June 14, around 2 am

Boelter, supposedly dressed in a dark police uniform and a hyperrealistic silicone mask, arrives at the house of state senator John Hoffman in Champlin. It parks a False police cruise from SUV, equipped with police lights and a registration that reads “the police”. The safety video shows the masked Boelter allegedly walking towards the main door holding a flashlight and a 9 mm Beretta pistol.

The suspect knocks Hoffman’s entrance door, shouting repeatedly: “This is the police. Open the door.”

Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, open the door, and Boelter supposedly shines his flashlight on their faces, and says that a shooting had been reported in the couple’s house and asks if they have weapons.

When the suspect down his flashlight, Hoffman and his wife realize that the man in front of them is not a police officer and shouts: “You are not a policeman, you are not a police officer.”

Boelter supposedly responds: “This is a robbery” and makes its way in the house.

When Senator Hoffman tries to get the gunman out of the house, they shoot him repeatedly. The gunman then shoots Yvette Hoffman repeatedly, flees to his vehicle and moves away.

June 14 at 2:05 am

Senator Hoffman’s little daughter calls 911 at 2:05 am informing that her parents had shot. Police officers respond to the house and find Hoffman and his wife suffering from gunshot wounds. They are taken to a hospital and both undergo surgery.

June 14, at 2:24 am

Boelter supposedly leads to Maple Grove, Minnesota, about nine miles from Champlin, to the house of a representative of the State of Minnesota, whose names have not revealed. The suspect is recorded in a security video that touches the bell at 2:24 am still wears a mask and dressed as a police officer, Boelter is seen in the video holding a gun and a flashlight.

The state representative has gone on family vacations, according to Thompson. Finding anyone at home, Boelter leaves.

June 14, 2:36 am

Upon learning about the house of Senator Hoffman in Champlin, New Hope, Minnesota, the police send an officer to the house of a state senator in the community about five miles from Maple Grove. Upon arrival, a police officer sees the black SUV of the suspect parked by the block with its emergency lights on.

The New Hope officer believes that he is another officer sent to the senator’s house to do well -being control, according to Thompson. The New Hope officer drives together with the suspect’s vehicle, rolls through his window and tries to speak with the person who believes he is an officer inside. But the person sitting in the vehicle does not respond and looks forward, according to Thompson.

The New Hope officer continues to the house of the state senator and waits for other officers to arrive. When support officers get there, the suspect has moved away.

The Minnesota state senator, Ann Rest, then publicly confirms that it was her home that the suspect was parked nearby.

“I am very grateful for the heroic work of the New Hope Police Department and its officers. His fast action saved my life,” says Rest in a statement.

June 14 at 3:30 am

Boelter supposedly arrives at the house of state representative Melissa Horton in Brooklyn Park, about 7 miles from New Hope. He parked on the entrance path with his emergency lights flashing.

Two police officers from Brooklyn Park sent to Horton’s house for his sergeant to do well -being control, reach the house and see the suspect standing at several feet of the main door.

When Brooklyn Park officers leave their car, Boelter supposedly draws their gun and opens fire. When the officers return, the suspect triggers through the main door and enters the house, fatally shooting Horton and her husband, Mark.

Boelter supposedly runs through the back door. The police find the 9 mm Beretta of the suspect, the armor of the body and the mask abandoned behind Horton’s house.

In Boelter vehicle parked on the entrance road, officers discover five more firearms, including assault style rifles and a large number of ammunition. Also in the car there is a notebook that contains the names and addresses of more than 45 state and federal elected officials of Minnesota, including information about Horton. Information about elected leaders of other states and abortion suppliers is also found in the notebook, as well as detailed notes of surveillance excursions that the suspect supposedly made about potential objectives, Thompson said.

June 14, between 10 am and 11 am

Onamia police, Minnesota, makes a traffic stop to Boelter’s wife. Officers find a weapon, ammunition, effective and passports in the vehicle. The police release Boelter’s wife after interrogating her and other occupants of the vehicle, the sources tell the ABC News KSTP affiliated station. No arrests are made.

June 14, afternoon afternoon

Drew Evans, Superintendent of the Minnesota Criminal Detention Office, releases Boelter’s name, saying that he is suspicious in the shootings in Champlin and Brooklyn Park. He announces that a human hunt is underway and asks the public to denounce any sight of the suspect to the police immediately.

June 15, 8:25 pm

Multiple sources tell ABC News that Boelter has been arrested near his farm in Green isle, Minnesota, after being seen on a path, through the camera. It is stopped without incident.
